I'm a New Haven expat turned traveling journalist and communications professional. Endlessly curious, and armed with an unbridled desire to report untold stories from the fringe, I've made my career telling the tales others wouldn't think to look for.
To date, that need for exploration has led me to reporting on everything from life on a hippie commune to the anti-fascist movement in the '80s Los Angeles punk scene to Olympic skiers overcoming near-death illnesses.
Since graduating from the University of Miami, I've tacked across the country from D.C. to San Diego to the mountains of Wyoming, writing, editing and creating multimedia content for publications like LA Weekly, Los Angeles Magazine, The PBS NewsHour, Thrillist, SLAM, Teton Gravity Research, Freeskier, GearJunkie, Adventure Sports Network, and Bleacher Report.
I have a proven history of driving engagement through my work and helping brands grow their followings through in-depth storytelling. With an established track record within the outdoor industry and in managing creative teams, I'm looking to continue help brands and publications communicate their message and form deep connections with their respective audiences.
When not at a desk creating content, you will almost always find me outside, chasing after my dog and espousing the values of America's greatest culinary invention–white clam pizza.
